The story of the Jailed gangster who turned himself into politician, ends here . The politician Mukhtar Ansari has died because of cardiac arrest on Thursday. He was admitted to a hospital in Uttar Pradesh’s Banda district after his health condition detoried. Mukhtar Ansari was rushed to the hospital in an unconscious state after he complained of continue vomiting.
Mukhtar’s death because of poison? Section 144 have been imposed across Uttar Pradesh!
The 63-year-old gangster politician, was lodged in a jail in UP’s Banda before taking his final breathes. He had been taken to the Rani Durgavati Medical College in the district by jail authorities but that time he was in an unconscious state around 8.25 pm on Thursday after complaining of vomiting. “The patient was provided immediate medical care by a team of nine doctors. But, despite their best efforts, the patient died due to a cardiac arrest,” the bulletin said.
A large team of police personnel had been deployed outside the hospital just sometimes after Ansari was admitted in that hospital. Prohibitory orders under Section 144 of the Criminal Procedure Code have also been imposed across Uttar Pradesh after his death. Uttar Pradesh Director General of Police Prashant Kumar has said that additional police personnel and Central Reserve Police Force teams have been deployed in Banda, Mau, Ghazipur and Varanasi districts.
Although Ansari had been hospitalised on Tuesday also but he was discharged after nearly 14 hours. “Mukhtar said that he was given a poisonous substance in his food in jail. This happened for the second time. He was given poison around 40 days ago as well. And, recently, on March 19 or March 22, he was again given this (poison) due to which his condition is bad,” Afzal Ansari, his brother had claimed.
