We would not like to comment on such reports. The person in question is wanted in numerous cases in India. He is also a UN-proscribed terrorist.”

The Indian Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson Arindam Bagchi has said, “We have conveyed a request. along with relevant supporting documents to the Government of Pakistan to extradite him to extradite him to India to face trial in a particular case.”

This is not the first time that India has requested Pakistan to hand over this terrorist. The Indian government has sent multiple messages from time to time to Pakistan just requesting them to hand over this dangerous militant to India. However, disagreement and complications have always come between the two countries. But recent reports say that, in April of 2022, Syed was sentenced to 31 years in prison by Pakistani law. But surprisingly, Hafeez’s son Talha Saeed is expected to contest polls from the National Assembly constituency NA-127 from Lahore.
