An anonymous call came to the police regarding the Somnath Express train running between Rajasthan and Jammu. The caller claimed that there was a bomb on the train. Due to this, the Somnath Express train was stopped in Firozpur for 6 hours.
After receiving information about the bomb, the railway administration hurriedly stopped the Somnath Express at Kasu Begu railway station at 7.42 am. All the passengers were evacuated. But later it turned out to be a fake call. After this, after the information shared by the Punjab Police, the West Bengal Police arrested the accused who made the fake call from South 24 Parganas district. Somnath Express runs between Jammu Tawi station in Jammu and Kashmir and Bhagat Ki Kothi railway station in Rajasthan.
