Actress Muskaan Nancy James has filed a complaint of domestic violence against her husband and Hansika Motwani’s brother Prashant. Muskaan and Prashant got married in 2021. According to reports, Muskaan has also accused her sister-in-law Hansika and mother-in-law Jyoti Motwani of interfering in her married life.
Muskaan Nancy James and Prashant have been living separately since 2022, a year after their marriage. According to a Pinkvilla report, Mata Ki Chowki fame actress Muskaan filed a complaint at Mumbai’s Amboli police station on December 18 under sections 498-A (cruelty), 323 (causing hurt), 504 (intentional insult), 506 (criminal intimidation), and 34 (common intention).
According to the complaint, Muskaan has accused her mother-in-law Jyoti and sister-in-law Hansika of interfering too much in her and Prashant’s marital life, which caused tension in their relationship.
According to reports, she also alleged that her in-laws used to demand expensive gifts and were even involved in fraudulent activities related to property. She further alleged that she suffered a lot of stress due to domestic violence. The actress alleges that she has contracted a disease called Bell’s Palsy, which caused facial paralysis.
Pinkvilla quoted Muskaan as saying- “Yes, an FIR has been filed against Prashant, Hansika, and Jyoti Motwani. I have now sought legal help. At present, I cannot comment much on the matter”.
Muskaan Nancy James and Prashant got married with great pomp in 2021. However, cracks started appearing in their relationship just a year after marriage. The actress has also deleted her wedding photos from her social media handles while Hansika still has some pictures on Instagram in which she can be seen posing with a smile.
