Supreme Court dismissed CBI’s petition

According to the information, in February, the Bombay High Court canceled the CBI’s lookout circular on the petition of Rhea Chakraborty and her brother and father. The CBI challenged the High Court’s order in the Supreme Court. Today, the Supreme Court dismissed the CBI’s appeal, which gave great relief to Rhea and her family.

Look out circular was issued for this reason

Lookout circulars were issued against Rhea, her brother, her father, and her mother in August 2020. Sushant Singh Rajput’s family filed a case in Patna, Bihar demanding an investigation into his death. The case was later transferred to the CBI. The CBI had issued a look-out circular against Rhea Chakraborty and family members in the case of the death of film actor Sushant Singh Rajput. On this, Rhea’s family had reached the High Court. On Rhea’s petition, the High Court canceled the lookout circular.

Sushant was found hanging on 14 June 2020

34-year-old actor Sushant Singh Rajput was found hanging in his Bandra apartment on 14 June 2020. After this, both Mumbai Police and Bihar Police started an investigation after the complaint of his father Krishna Kishore Singh, a resident of Patna.
