A panic-stricken mail was sent to the Mumbai Police on Thursday, in which a bomb threat was issued to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Narendra Modi Stadium where most of the Cricket World Cup matches have been organized. In this threatening mail, the government has also demanded to release of Rs 500 crore and notorious gangster Lawrence Bishnoi. It was also said that people had been sent to carry out the incident.
At present Bishnoi is kept in Mandoli jail in Delhi. According to the police, this threatening mail was sent to the National Investigation Agency and the agency informed Mumbai Police about this mail. A police officer said, ‘We came to know about this mail from NIA, after which other agencies have also been informed about it. We have also ascertained the email ID from which the mail was sent to NIA. The mail has been sent from Europe.
He said that it seemed as if this was a mischief by someone sitting abroad, he had started searching for that person. Besides, assurance has also been given to make tight security arrangements for all the matches of the World Cup.
The mail sent to NIA said, ‘If the government cannot give us Rs 500 crore and release Lawrence Bishnoi, we will bomb Narendra Modi and Narendra Modi Stadium. Everything is sold in India, so we have also brought something. No matter how safe you are, you can’t be safe from us. If you want to talk, you can do so on this mail. A case was also registered against Khalistani terrorist Gurpatwant Singh Pannu for threatening to attack in World Cup matches. He had also threatened to take revenge for the killed terrorist Najjar.
