10 Tips to Lose 5 Kgs Before Diwali: Your Ultimate Pre-Festive weightloss Guide

And now, with Diwali just around the corner, the question is: how do you lose all that holiday weight and fit into that fire outfit for the big day? But do you know, it’s not just about looking good (though we get it, who doesn’t want to slay in a lehenga or a saree?), but it’s also about feeling amazing. Start with 30-45 minutes of cardio (running, brisk walking, cycling, dancing, whatever gets your heart rate up) at least 4-5 times a week. And don’t sleep on weight training! Use smaller plates and measure your food to avoid overdoing it. Eat lowly and give your body time to realize it’s full (it usually takes 20 minutes for your brain to get the memo). The goal is to eat until you’re about 80% full, trust me, that’s full enough!

7. Hydrate and hydrate

If there’s one best friend forever for everybody, that makes everything better, it’s water. Staying hydrated helps with digestion, boosts your metabolism, and even stops unnecessary cravings. Aim for 2-3 liters of water every day. If plain water feels boring, jazz it up with lemon, cucumber, or mint! Plus, drinking water before meals can help you avoid overeating, so drink up.

8. Get That Beauty Sleep

We need to talk about sleep because it’s more important than you think. When you don’t get enough sleep, your hunger hormones get all messed up, which leads to more cravings and slower fat burn.
