Born on 9 March 1951, Zakir Hussain has won three Grammy Awards. He has also been awarded the Padma Shri, Padma Bhushan, and Padma Vibhushan. Zakir Hussain was an actor and tabla player. He made his acting debut with the 1983 British film Heat and Dust. He also worked in the 1998 film Saaz. In his career, he worked in about 12 films.
