Former adult star Mia Khalifa has lost her job. The reason is, that she shared horrendous posts on X (previously known as Twitter) showing her support for Palestine in the Israel and Hamas war. Mia has shown her support for Palestine since the war started. The posts drew massive views from many on social media, including Canadian broadcaster and radio host Todd Shapiro. He publicly canceled his business deal with her.
She shared “If you can look at the situation in Palestine and not be on the side of Palestinians, then you are on the wrong side of apartheid and history will show that in time.” She also added, “Can someone please tell the freedom fighters in Palestine to flip their phones and film horizontally.”
The radio host Todd Shapiro reacted to the post and wrote “This is such a horrendous tweet @miakhalifa. Consider yourself fired effective immediately. Simply disgusting. Beyond disgusting. Please evolve and become a better human being. The fact you are condoning death, rape, beatings, and hostage-taking is truly gross. No words can explain your ignorance. We need humans to come together, especially in the face of tragedy. I pray for you to become a better person. However, it seems like it’s too late for you,”. On April 25, 2023, they announced a partnership with Mia Khalifa, where she was responsible for spearheading the company’s corporate social responsibility initiatives and focusing on issues related to social justice, advocacy, and the responsible consumption of magic truffles.
The entire world has been startled by the current situation between Israel and Palestine war. Around 1,600 people have been killed so far, including 900 from Israel and nearly 700 from Gaza, and thousands have been injured on both sides. Social media has become a platform flooded with people expressing their opinions on the matter as always.
