The marriage between South Cinema superstar Dhanush and Aishwarya Rajinikanth has now officially ended. The divorce of both has been sealed. Both of them had announced their divorce in the year 2022, but now this decision has been approved by the court.
On November 27, a family court in Chennai fully validated their divorce. The court gave its final verdict on Wednesday and thus the 20-year-old marriage officially ended. But now the question arises that why the divorce took place only after 2 years of the announcement of separation.
Dhanush and Aishwarya have taken the decision to end their marriage with mutual consent. On January 17, 2022, he had informed about the breakup of his relationship through social media.
Their statement read, “18 years of togetherness as friends, couple, as parents and well-wishers to each other. The journey has been of growth, understanding, adjusting and adapting. Today we stand at a place where our paths separate. Aishwaryaa/Dhanush and I have decided to part ways as a couple and take time to understand us as individuals for the better. Please do respect our decion and give us the needed privacy to deal with this”
At that time they had told that both of them now want to move forward in their personal lives. After this, both of them were living separately and now the court has legally approved this decision.
