Responding to an all-India press, the director said, “Vikrant does not want to reduce his value. He had many offers for web projects and movies. Due to this, the actor was afraid that he would be overexposed and the audience might get very tired of watching him. The actor got offers in so many projects from both Bollywood and OTT platforms and he thought the audience might get tired. So the decision to take this break and give himself time is one of great courage. Why not do it?”

Vikranth has shared a note in his post which reads, “Hello, the last few years and the time before that have been beyond phenomenaI. I thank each and everyone one of you for your indelible support. But as I move forward, I realise it is time to move forward and recalibrate and go back home. As a husband, Father & a son. And also as an Actor. So coming 2025, we would meet each other for one last time. Until time seems light”

While reacting on this issue, Vikranth’s “Haseen Dilruba” coworker Harshwandhan Rane said, he would be happy if this action of the actor is a ‘PR activity’ as per the instructions of a producer. And that is what we are praying for. Meanwhile, there is a rumor in the industry that we will be seeing Vikrant in a negative character in ‘Don 3’ movie. And Vikranth’s decision might be just a little break before making a huge comeback.
