M Chinnaswamy Stadium was on fire tonight with one-by-one electrifying performances. The performance of Bollywood stars was seen in the opening ceremony of Season 2 of the Women’s Premier League (WPL). Actors like Shahrukh Khan, Tiger Shroff, Shahid Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, Sidharth Malhotra, and Kartik Aryan performed in the ceremony that lasted for about 45 minutes at Bengaluru’s M Chinnaswamy Stadium.
After Karthik-Siddharth, action star Tiger Shroff danced. He gave a stellar performance on the song Mere Naal Tu Whistle Baja…. Then Varun Dhawan and Shahid Kapoor also danced. Shahid entered in Superbike on the theme tune of Kabir Singh.
After all this, the entry of Bollywood’s king Shahrukh Khan took place. She enthralled everyone by dancing on Jhoome Jo Pathan. As soon as Shahrukh came on stage, the stadium echoed with applause and whistles. King Khan did a spectacular dance to the superhit song ‘Jhoome Jo Pathan…’ from the film Pathan. After his spectacular performance, Shahrukh called the captains of all the teams on the stage. After that, everyone had a photo shoot together.
With this spectacular opening, the Women’s Premier League 2024 has started officially. The opening match will be played between defending champions Mumbai Indians and first Women’s Premier League runners-up Delhi Capitals.
