Home minister Amit Shah’s big statement before the the elections just came! According to the home minister, the Citizenship Amendment Act which is known as CAA is only meant to give citizenship to those who came to India after facing persecution in Pakistan, Afghanistan and Bangladesh . He also mentioned that it is not for snatching anyone’s Indian citizenship.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah has made a big claim about the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. He has claimed that BJP will get 370 seats and NDA will get more than 400 seats in this election. According to the home minister,the government will be formed for the third consecutive time under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi! Amit Shah also said that there is no suspense on the results of the Lok Sabha elections. He said that the Congress and other opposition parties have already realized that they will have to sit on the opposition benches again. During a TV programme, Amit Shah said, ‘We have abrogated Article 370 of the Constitution, which gave special status to Jammu and Kashmir. Therefore, we believe that the people of the country will bless BJP with 370 seats and NDA with more than 400 seats.”
On the CAA, Amit Shah said that the law was passed in 2019. After issuing the rules in this matter, the act will be implemented as soon as possible, before the Lok Sabha elections. Shah said, ‘CAA is the law of the country, its notification will definitely be done. CAA has to be implemented before the elections so no one should have any confusion in this. He said, ‘Our Muslim brothers are being misled and instigated against CAA. CAA is meant to grant citizenship only to those who have come to India after facing persecution in Pakistan, Afghanistan and Bangladesh. This is not to take away anyone’s Indian citizenship.’
