A woman, who originated from West Bengal was allegedly raped and went to tremendous torture for over a week! This was done by a male friend she had. Reports are saying that she made this friend over the phone in south Delhi’s Neb Sarai area. The woman has been rescued and an FIR has been filed against the accused person.

The incident came to light when the Neb Sarai police station received a PCR call. The call was reporting that a woman was being assaulted by her husband. After arriving at the site, the police rescued the woman and took her straight to the AIIMS. She was hospitalized with approximately 20 injury marks. However, she has now been discharged. The victim woman has said that she has been in contact with Paras via phone for the past 3-4 months. Then she traveled to Bengaluru in early January for a housemaid job and decided to meet Paras. But Paras persuaded her to stay and promised to help her find employment here in Delhi.
The accused man, the woman’s “FRIEND”, is identified as Paras. According to the reports his age is 28. The accused man is originated from Uttarakhand. He used to work as a cook in a Delhi eatery. He was booked for rape, sodomy, and causing harm to the victim. The latest reports are saying that he used brutal methods such as ‘pouring hot dal’ on her body and many other methods to torture that poor lady.
An FIR has been filed against the accused man in connection with the case on January 30. All of these happened following the woman’s complaint under sections 323 (voluntarily causing hurt), 376 (rape), and 377 (sodomy) of the Indian Penal Code. Although the police arrested Paras on February 2. “When police inquired about the matter, the woman stated that she hailed from Darjeeling in West Bengal and came in contact with the accused over the phone,” a senior police officer said.
