10 years old Birthday girl died in Punjab after eating a cake that was ordered online!

The family of the girl has confirmed that the chocolate cake, which was ordered from ‘Cake Kanha bakery in Adalat Bazaar, Patiala, contained some kind of poisonous substance which led to the death of the 10 year old girl. This tragic event happened in Punjab’s Patiala. A 10-year-old girl died after eating a cake which was ordered online for her birthday last week.

Food poisoning or something else? What is the main reason behind her death?

In a video of this girl went viral on social media. In that video, the little girl named Manvi is seen cutting the cake and celebrating with her family just like every child does on birthday. But that was just hours before her death. The girl’s grandfather described this incident, he said that the family ordered the cake around 6 pm and celebrated her birthday at 7 pm on March 24. But around 10 pm that night, not only the kid, but the entire family fell ill. The two younger daughters began vomiting too. There were five people at home at the time.

Manvi, the birthday girl asked for water, and she was complaining of extreme thirst and a dry mouth. Although the youngest daughter Preman survived after vomiting the cake, but unfortunately Manvi couldn’t make it. Her health condition deteriorated more and more, the family rushed her to the hospital the next morning. Manvi was put on oxygen and underwent an ECG too, but unfortunately, she couldn’t be saved by the doctors. She was declared dead soon after.

“The postmortem of the body has been done. A sample from the cake has also been sent for testing. We are awaiting the reports,” said the police and an FIR has been filed against the bakery owner.
