The finance minister has said “Tamil Nadu government has banned watching live telecast of Ayodha Ram Mandir programmes of January 22. In Tamil Nadu there are over 200 temples for Shri Ram. In HR and CE managed temples no puja, bhajan, prasadam or annadanam in the name of Shri Ram is allowed. Police are stopping privately held temples also from organising events. They are threatening organisers that they will rip off pandals.”

She also added, “Heart-breaking scenes in several parts of TN. People are threatened for organising bhajans, feeding the poor, celebrating with sweets even as we wish to watch Hon. PM Narendra Modi participate in Ayodhya. Cable TV operators are told that there is a likely power-shut down during the live telecast. This is I.N.D.I Alliance partner DMK’s anti-Hindu efforts.”

Tamil Nadu government said all of these are falls information!

however, Tamilnadu State officials has completely denied these accusations. According to them, “Strongly condemn the spreading of false information in an attempt to divert people’s attention from the DMK Youth Conference in Salem…It is unfortunate that people in office, like Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and others, are purposefully propagating this erroneous information.”

Tamil Nadu Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Minister, P K Sekar Babu has claimed that there is no such ban on the conduct of puja for Lord Ram. According tohia there is no bar to distribute ‘Annadhanam’ and ‘Prasadam.’  Minister P K Sekar has said “A rumour is being disseminated to divert people’s attention from the DMK’s youth wing conference, underway now at Salem.”
