Congress and the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) that is led by Arvind Kejriwal, have now announced their seat-sharing formula in the national capital other states. They announced the seat sharing at a joint press conference on Saturday. According to the latest reports, out of the seven Lok Sabha seats in Delhi, AAP will contest for four seats, and the Congress will contest for three seats.
AAP is expected to contest for West Delhi, South Delhi, New Delhi, and East Delhi!
The four seats that the Am Admi Party has chosen in the national capital are West Delhi, South Delhi, New Delhi, and East Delhi. The Congress party will field their candidates from Chandni Chowk, North East Delhi, and North West Delhi. The Congress leader Mukul Wasnik, has said at a joint press conference about this. Although , the AAP and the Congress party have decided to contest Lok Sabha polls separately in Punjab. This was disclosed by the AAP leader Sandeep Pathak said at a joint press conference.

The Congress party will take part in both Lok Sabha seats in Goa and a lone seat in Chandigarh, this is also disclosed by Congress leader Mukul Wasnik. Congress and Akhilesh Yadav’s Samajwadi Party has announced that the grand old party would field their 17 candidates in Uttar Pradesh now. The Samajwadi Party and other INDIA bloc partners will get the rest of the 63 seats in the election of 2024.
Congress General Secretary in-charge Communications, Jairam Ramesh said, “The important thing is that an official announcement has been made for the alliance(in UP)…It took time to give it a final form…Today, the AAP and Congress are also making official announcements about the alliance. It was being said again and again that Congress is lazy and not interested but I always said that it takes time.”
