Dhoom Director Sanjay Gadhvi Passes Away, Bollywood in Shock

The sudden loss of Bollywood has put everyone in shock. Sanjay Gadhvi, who is the famous director of Bollywood’s iconic films Dhoom and Dhoom 2, has passed away. His age was 57 years. Sanjay Gdhvi took his last breath at around 10 am on Sunday, November 19.

The director was out on a morning walk and died due to this reason!!

According to the medical reports, Sanjay had gone out for a morning walk in Mumbai’s Lokhandwala Backroad this morning. During this walk, a sudden severe pain in his chest started and he started sweating badly. Sanjay was hurriedly taken to the big Kokilaben Ambani Hospital in Mumbai. There the doctors declared Sanjay dead.

Filmmaker Boney Kapoor confirmed Gadhvi’s death. He said, “He was at his house and collapsed after suffering a heart attack. He died at 8.45 am.” 

“He passed away at 9.30 am this morning at his residence. We are not sure what it is, but it is most likely a heart attack. He wasn’t unwell, he was perfectly healthy,” Sanjana, dis daughter said.

Gadhvi made his directorial debut in 2000 with “Tere Liye” followed up with 2002’s “Mere Yaar Ki Shaadi Hai“, his first project with Yash Raj Films. He first gained attention when he directed the action thriller Dhoom in 2004. He then directed the sequel to Dhoom, called Dhoom 2. The film starred three of the main actors from the previous film Abhishek Bachchan, Uday Chopra and Rimi Sen. Hrithik Roshan, Aishwarya Rai, and Bipasha Basu joined the cast
