Running train caught fire in Agra!

14624 Pathankot Express suddenly caught fire on Wednesday afternoon. According to the latest news, the train was going from Ferozepur in Punjab to Seoni in Madhya Pradesh. The fire incident took place near Bharai railway station under Malpura police station in Agra. When the train was between Agra and Dholpur, the passengers suddenly saw smoke coming from the GS coach of the train. It is the fourth compartment of the engine.

The real reason behind this incident!

“Smoke was reported on the train Patalkot Express between Agra- Dholpur. The smoke was noticed in the GS coach, the 4th coach from the engine. The train was immediately stopped and Coach detached. No injuries to any person,” according to a statement by Indian Railways.

But There was no report of any casualty as of now, Agra Railway Division PRO Prashasti Srivastava said. The express train runs between Firozpur Cantonment in Punjab and Seoni in Madhya Pradesh.

According to the latest news, two rooms close to the engine are on fire. Realizing the severity of the situation, the driver quickly stopped the train. Passengers were dropped from the respective two rooms. The train engine and other compartments are separated from the respective two rooms. The compartment was also separated from the surrounding compartments as soon as possible. But as the fire spread rapidly, the next room also caught fire while finishing all this work. The two compartments were isolated and the rest of the train was moved to a safe distance. No casualties were reported till evening.
