How to take care of your body in summer?
Change of season is here. It calls for a change in our routine, a clean diet, and of course, a new exercise regimen that suits the weather. But how can we eat healthy? Which foods to avoid? Which special things to do to keep ourselves fit?
drink enough water:
In summer water is our best friend. Summer heat takes out our water from our body. So it is very important to drink extra litres of water in some days. Drink atleast 8 to 9 glasses of water during summer days to keep your body cool and fit. To stay healthy always drink one glass of water before your every meal. This will prevent you from overeating.
Eat healthy and light foods:
In winter days we eat heavy meals, junk foods , foods that keep our body warm. But that will not be helpful for summer. In summer we have to wait food that is light , easy to digest and not rich. Fresh fruits and vegetables that have a higher water content, is perfect for summer. Use less oils and spices in your food. Eat more fibres.
Sleep 7-9 hours every night:
Sleep is very important in our life. It keeps our mind fresh, body calm. Sleep allows our body to recover from intense exercise, grow and repair muscles. So, everyday 7 to 9 hours of sleep is very important to keep your body fit in summer days.
Do a little to moderate exercise:
Exercise that also in summer days? Sounds very painful right? But if you exercise for at least half an hour everyday, it will help your body to loose those extra calories that you stored in winter. Exercise also helps to keep your body cool your mind cool and fresh.
