More than 40 workers were rushed to hospitals with burn injuries because of an explosion. The accident happened in an auto spare parts factory in Haryana on Saturday. This fatal explosion took place around 5.50 pm, it started because of a boiler, that burst in the dust collector. It happened in Life Long Company in Dharuhera, which a big Industrial hub in Rewari District.
Many of the wounded workers were rushed to the Civil Hospital in Rewari and some of the workers with serious condition, were referred to hospitals in Delhi and Gurugram, this has reported till now. The incident took place around 5.50 pm when a boiler burst in the dust collector of the factory, this is also informed by the police. Several fire tenders were rushed to the unit to put out the fire. Videos from the accident place has been going viral in social media. Videos from the accident spot showed scared people are running out of the factory gate while big nd black clouds of smoke rising into the evening sky.
The incident happened in the Dharuhera area at the ‘Life-Long factory,’ as per the latest reports. The explosion took place around 5.30 to 7 pm. Around 100 people were injured in the blast, said Dr. Surender Yadav, who is a civil surgeon. The victims of this explosion were immediately transported to the nearest hospital. “We have alerted the hospitals and dispatched ambulances to the factory,” Dr. Yadav explained. Among the casualties, one patient with serious case has been referred to Rohtak. Further updates on the condition of the injured workers are still awaited.
