That news claimed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been considered as a serious contender for the Nobel Peace Prize! Why Ranaut is being trolled after sharing the news of Narendra Modi might be getting Nobel peace prize?

Reports say that the News bulletin that claimed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been considered as a serious contender for the Nobel Peace Prize, was a false news. In March 2023, Toje was first interviewed at an event that was called ‘Alternative Development Model and Peace‘ at Delhi. During the media interviews, Toje praised Modi’s leadership and acknowledged his role behind India’s role for global peace. When he was asked directly if PM Modi was being considered for the Nobel peace prize, he merely said, “I hope every leader in every nation is inspired to do the work that is necessary to be awarded the Nobel Peace Prize.” Olav Njølstad, who is the Director of the Norwegian Nobel Institute, has also said via email, “He (Toje) was misquoted and never made any such statement.”

But a renowned media page of India has shared a video of an interview by Toje and they captioned ” ‘PM Modi is the biggest contender for the Nobel Peace Prize’- says #AsleToje, Deputy leader of the Nobel Prize Committee”. Although that post now has been deleted. Actor Kangana Ranaut now has shared the post on her X account. She has captioned, “Nobel prize committee member speaks about the prospects of our Prime Minister getting the Nobel Prize 🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳”. people started trolling the actress after that.
