Arvind Kejriwal’s wife Sunita got permit to meet him in Tihar Jail!

Sunita Kejriwal, who is the wife of Delhi CM  Arvind Kejriwal, as well as, AAP minister Atishi, were not allowed to meet the Delhi CM inside the Tihar Jail. But the Tihar jail authorities granted the wife to meet her husband just a day after they have denied permission to the AAP leader’s wife. Arvind Kejriwal has been in Tihar jail for almost a month.

Arvind Kejriwal’s wife Sunita was not allowed to meet him in the Tihar Jail at first!

“Sunita has been meeting Kejriwal and there is no question of denying permission to her. We have to follow protocols and preparations have already been made for the Atishi’s meeting,” said an official source from the Tihar jail. Although, AAP leaders and members have completely rejected the Tihar jail administration’s claim. “The names of Sunita Kejriwal and Atishi were sent to the Tihar administration on 27 April for meeting the chief minister on Monday (29 April). The prison administration informed us just now that they would not allow Sunita Kejriwal to meet the CM on Monday. They will only allow Atishi,” a party member has claimed .

In a post on X, formally known as Twitter, the party has claimed, “At the behest of the Modi government, the Tihar jail administration cancelled Sunita Kejriwal’s meeting with her husband Arvind Kejriwal. The Modi government is crossing all limits of inhumanity. An elected chief minister is being treated like a terrorist. The Modi government should tell the people of the country as to why it is not allowing Sunita Kejriwal ji to meet her husband Arvind Kejriwal ji?”. 

Meanwhile, in the absence of Arvid Kejriwal, Sunita Kejriwal has appeared for the second roadshow for the APP party. She greeted the people while asking for support to the AAP candidate Mahabal Mishra from West Delhi constituency. “They have been keeping your chief minister and my husband Arvind Kejriwal in jail for the last one month. So far, no court has pronounced him guilty. They are saying the investigation is on. If the investigation continues for 10 years, will they keep him in jail for 10 years,” she said during the roadshow.
