Bollywood star Madhuri Dixit is reportedly gearing up to enter politics. Once upon a time, Madhuri rocked Bollywood, The whole country was crazy for this beauty, she was the Dhak Dhak Girl of Bollywood. Madhuri is still in demand for sure. But rumors are going around the possibility of Madhuri Dixit entering into the realm of politics. It is heard that she’s eyeing a potential candidacy in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections from North West Mumbai.
Madhuri entering politics? Just a rumor or the truth?
According to the latest news, the actress has been engaged in discussions with leaders from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Which proves that she’s establishing a connection with political figures. Reports also indicate that this ongoing communication between Madhuri and BJP leaders includes interactions with prominent figures like Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar and BJP leader Ashish Shelar. The heroine may be given a ticket from either North Mumbai or North West Mumbai Lok Sabha seat. Madhuri Dixit can be BJP’s bet in Poonam Mahajan’s seat.
Madhuri Dixit met Amit Shah even before the 2019 Lok Sabha elections. At that time too there were speculations of her joining the BJP. But that speculation did not materialize at that time. But this year, it could not be a rumor. When Madhuri Dixit reached the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai to watch the India vs New Zealand semi-final match on Wednesday. Why Madhuri Dixit stopped working?
It’s been 13 years. Her last project was Devdas in 2002. After Devdas, Dixit took a break from actively working in films to focus on her married life in Denver, Colorado.
In 2007, Madhuri Dixit made her first comeback as an actress after five years with a leading role in cinematographer Anil Mehta’s dance film Aaja Nachle. Though this was a box office failure, the film generated positive reviews for Dixit’s portrayal.
