The TMC leaders’ had reached aoS Rural Development Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti’s office for a meeting at 6 pm today. However, they were informed at 7:30 p.m. that she wouldn’t be able to meet them. Then they sat on Dharna inside the Krishi Bhawan saying that they wouldn’t move from there until she met them. The Delhi police reportedly entered the premises and forcefully vacated the place.
In the video, we can see that Delhi Police cops are forcibly lifting Moitra off and violently dragging her out of the protest site and the person recording could be heard shouting at the personnel, “Kya kar rahe hain? woh ek MP hain”

According to a senior police officer, who doesn’t want to be named, said, “Over two dozen TMC supporters have been detained, including Abhishek Banerjee and Derek O’Brien.”
Videos are going viral on social media of Delhi Police personnel forcibly removing the TMC leaders from the Krishi Bhawan premises.
Taking to Twitter, the TMC leader said, “This is how elected MPs of the world’s largest democracy are treated after being given an appointment to meet with a Minister of the Govt of India (which she refused to honor after making us wait 3 hours).” She also added, “You can drag us out, but the truth won’t go away- you have illegally withheld thousands of crores of MNREGA funds from the poot of West Bengal. INDIA will throw you out come 2024. ”
