CM MAMATA BANERJEE reaction on Mahua Maitra being expelled!

Mahua Maitra has been dismissed from the post of MP following the report of the ethics committee for questioning in exchange of money in Parliament. WB chief minister Mamata Banerjee claimed that this was evident that BJP cannot even fight the opposition in a democratic way.

“Shame on BJP” this was West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee’s immediate reaction to the incident of TMC leader Mahua Moitra’s expulsion from the Lok Sabha on Friday.

Mahua Maitra has been expelled from the post of MP following. She used to represented Trinamool Congress from Krishnanagar in Parliament. Trinamool leader and West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee’s reaction to Mahua’s dismissal was quite obvious ! She said that Mahua was not even given an single opportunity to defend herself. Mamata Banerjee said, ‘By removing Mahua, the BJP has done a bypass surgery of democracy!’

Mahua Maitra’s angry reaction on her suspension!!

“This House accepts the conclusions of the Committee that MP Mahua Moitra’s conduct was immoral and indecent as an MP. So, it is not appropriate for her to continue as an MP…” said ethics committee chairperson Vinod Kumar Sonkar.

Moitra raged her anger out about how the ethics panel did not have the power to expel her. The opposition members, including the Gandhis and others stood behind her. Equating herself she said “The Ethics Committee has no power to expell.This is the beginning of your (BJP) end. If this Modi government thought that by shutting me up they could do away with the Adani issue. let me tell you this that this kangaroo court has only shown to all of India that the haste. And the abuse of due process you have used demonstrates how important (Gautam) Adani is to you. And to what length you will go to harass a single woman MP into shutting her into submission…”
