Massive Fire Breaks Out In Lucknow-Rameswaram Express At Madurai Station, 10 people died.

A special train going from Tirupati to Rameswaram-Kanyakumari caught fire. Eight passengers have been killed in this incident, who were residents of Uttar Pradesh. The fire broke out in the pantry coach. Many people got badly burnt in this incident. It is being told that the fire started due to a cylinder burst. The train was about to reach Madurai in Tamil Nadu when it caught fire in the morning. Railways has announced a compensation of 10 lakh each to the families of those who died.

It is being told that a passenger was burning gas. Gas leaked from the cylinder and after the fire, the cylinder got blasted. According to the report, many people died on the spot. The fire spread to the second coach and many people remained trapped in the compartment. A team of firefighters reached the spot and rescued the passengers. It is being told that after the fire broke out, 60 passengers jumped from the train in fear and saved their lives.

Travelers from Uttar Pradesh went on a temple visit

The train was going from Lucknow in Uttar Pradesh to Tamil Nadu. The passengers were going on a temple visit in the southern state. A team of firefighters from Madurai has reached the spot and is engaged in relief work. Initial reports suggest that the fire might have started when some people were trying to make tea on the train. For this, when he lit the gas, the leaking cylinder exploded. Railway officials and the Madurai city police are conducting a thorough investigation at the scene after a train caught fire near the busy Madurai railway station.

Two coaches of the train burnt to ashes

Firemen have reached the spot and are busy extinguishing the fire. The train, which had set out on a spiritual journey from Lucknow in Uttar Pradesh, was stopped near Madurai railway station. In such a situation, a sudden fire broke out in a compartment of the train early this morning. The last two coaches of the train were completely gutted. According to local media reports, two people from Uttar Pradesh, 64-year-old Sapadman Singh and 65-year-old Mithileshwari, died in the fire.
