On Wednesday afternoon, another massive fire broke out in Mudpipe Cafe in the KDP Building in Kira Layout on Bengaluru’s Hosur Road.
Massive fire broke out from cylinder blust!
A massive fire was reported at Mudpipe Cafe (popularly known for its hookah bar) located just below Cult Fit on Tavarekere Main Road in Bengaluru, situated opposite Forum Mall on Wednesday. The incident happened after a gas cylinder exploded. The incident took a dramatic turn when a person was forced to make a daring escape from the fourth floor. The fire spread to the entire Nexa building from the fourth floor and to another building located adjacent to it.
After the passersby heard the loud cries and explosion, they informed fire and rescue personnel who rushed to the spot to douse the fire. According to reports, as many as 4 fire tenders were rushed to the spot after the incident was reported.
It is reported that the fire was caused by to gas cylinder explosion. A gas leak from the cylinder or regulator gets mixed with air, forming a combustible mixture can be a reason for this.
the fire has been controlled to a great extent. The police said that a young man trapped in the fire jumped from the fourth floor in panic. Presently, the man is alive and is being treated in the hospital. According to the reports, the situation is under control now.
