Haryana unit president of Indian National Lok Dal and former MLA, Nafe Singh Rathee was shot dead! This fatal incident happened on Sunday evening, till now it has been confirmed that it was done by an unidentified gunmen. Nafe Singh Rathi and his associates were inside the vehicle when this happened। The attacker men, came in a car and did open fire. As soon as the had done this, the attackers fled the scene.

Nafe Singh Rathee, who was a former MLA too। He was travelling in an SUV when the assailants came and killed him by firing. They were in a car and attacked him in Jhajjar’s Bahadurgarh town. The attack has come just weeks before the Lok Sabha elections. That’s why it has drew sharp reactions from opposition parties. It also has alleged a breakdown in law and order in the BJP-ruled state. Police has said the investigation in the matter was underway.
“Shocked by the sudden demise of Rathi ji and Shri Jai Kishan. My deepest condolences to the bereaved families. We are with them in this difficult time,” said Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar. He also has said that not a single culprit involved in this case will be spared. He has instructed the police to arrest the accused as soon as possible and take strictest action.
Rathee has aged 67. Three private gunmen who were hired by Rathee for security, had also suffered injuries. Doctors at the hospital has said that Rathee had suffered many injuries in neck, stomach, spine and thigh and suffered a heavy blood loss. Home Minister Anil Vij said that the Special Task Force is probing the matter and the culprits will be nabbed soon. “The two-time MLA, who is our state unit chief, was not provided with security. In writing, representations had been made to senior police officers and state home minister that he was facing threats and should be provided with security,”said Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar and Home Minister Anil Vij.
