Suddenly two men jumped from the gallery into the chamber with tear gas shells!! Then they didn’t stop there, those two men jumped from one bench to another bench to get ahead! This incident happened in Parliament House today! Though both of the men have been apprehended.
A major security breach has been reported in the Lok Sabha! Two men were seated in the public gallery, suddenly they jumped into the Parliament House’s chamber! and started spreading tear gas! The Ministers of Parliament had to leave the House then and there. Every procedure of parliament has been adjourned today till 2 pm, by BJP member Rajendra Agrawal. He was present in the chair when the incident took place.
The last time, someone jumped like this in the chamber from the gallery was when the House passed a bill to create Jharkhand. The watch staff and the ward staff have cleared the gallery, the chamber, and the surrounding areas.
Congress MP Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury said the men were carrying tear gas canisters. “One person leapt over the benches of the Lok Sabha while another was seen dangling from the public gallery spraying some tear gas when Zero Hour was in progress. This is certainly a security breach because today we observed the death anniversary of people who sacrificed their lives in the 2001”
“unidentified, yellow colour gas that caused burning sensation in the nose”, stated MP Arvind Sawant.
Congress leader Gaurav Gogoi said, “Saw two young men unleash foul smelling yellow coloured gas from canisters inside Parliament gallery. MPs rushed to grab these men. One person was raising some slogans. This raises serious questions on another aspect of the new Parliament building- security.”
