PM Narendra Modi submitted his resignation to President Draupadi Murmu

Narendra Modi has resigned from the post of Prime Minister on Wednesday (June 5). Modi reached Rashtrapati Bhavan and after meeting President Draupadi Murmu, submitted his resignation along with the Council of Ministers. The President accepted the resignation of Prime Minister Modi and urged him to continue on the post of Prime Minister till the formation of the new government.

The Union Cabinet chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday recommended the dissolution of the 17th Lok Sabha. Sources gave this information.He said that after a meeting at his residence a day after the results of the general elections, Modi has now decided to meet President Draupadi Murmu and formally recommend the dissolution of the Lok Sabha along with resigning from his post. A top source said, “The Union Cabinet has recommended the dissolution of the 17th Lok Sabha.”

NDA meeting to be held at 4 pm
