Narendra Modi has resigned from the post of Prime Minister on Wednesday (June 5). Modi reached Rashtrapati Bhavan and after meeting President Draupadi Murmu, submitted his resignation along with the Council of Ministers. The President accepted the resignation of Prime Minister Modi and urged him to continue on the post of Prime Minister till the formation of the new government.
The Union Cabinet chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday recommended the dissolution of the 17th Lok Sabha. Sources gave this information.He said that after a meeting at his residence a day after the results of the general elections, Modi has now decided to meet President Draupadi Murmu and formally recommend the dissolution of the Lok Sabha along with resigning from his post. A top source said, “The Union Cabinet has recommended the dissolution of the 17th Lok Sabha.”
After the election results are declared, a big meeting of NDA is to be held on Wednesday evening at 4 pm. Many senior leaders are going to attend this meeting. The process of ministers coming to Delhi from many states has also started. Nitish Kumar has also come to Delhi in the same flight with Tejashwi Yadav. Telugu Desam Party (TDP) president N Chandrababu Naidu, Janata Dal (United) leader and Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, Shiv Sena leader and Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas LJP) leader Chirag Paswan are among those leaders.
