Priyanka became the main attraction of the limelight, while she wore confidence in a white sari with blue motifs along with a V-neck matching blouse on the third day at the Jio MAMI Mumbai Film Festival. The video of her look was soon posted on Instagram by a known paparazzi account. She chose a white and blue neckpiece and completed her look with red lipstick and blow-dried hair. The actor completely exuded her ‘Desi Girl’ vibe.

Earlier on Friday, she opened the event with a stirring speech on the important role played by women in cinema. She said, “We would like to acknowledge the pivotal role of women in front of the camera and behind it – we have some of the most amazing women, some of them here tonight, whose contribution to cinema is unparalleled.” Priyanka Chopra is the chairperson of this year’s festival. She and Bhumi Pednekar conducted a master class yesterday.
Other B-town celebs including Kareena Kapoor Khan, Rajkumar Rao, Sunny Leone, Sonam Kapoor, Sail Ali Khan, Vijay Varma, and director Karan Johar also arrived at the opening night. The festival promises to spotlight contemporary films and new cinematic voices from South Asia.
