Ram Rahim Released on 21-Day Furlough, to Stay at Barnawa Ashram in UP

Baba Ram Rahim has come out of jail just before the Haryana Assembly elections. The state government has given him furlough for 21 days. On Tuesday at 6.46 am, Honeypreet left for Barnawa Ashram in UP with Ram Rahim from Sunaria Jail. Apart from Honeypreet, in one car there were drivers, Raja and CP Arora, while in the other car, there were drivers Pritam, Advocate Harsh Arora, and Dr. PR Nain. Ram Rahim has been taken from jail to UP under police protection.

Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh was sentenced in the year 2017 in the Sadhvi rape case. Later he was also convicted in the Chhatrapati murder case and the Ranjit murder case. Since then he has been lodged in Sunaria jail. Last time on January 19, the government gave parole for 50 days to Ramrahim, which was spent in Barnawa Ashram in UP. After this, the High Court had given a decision on a petition that Ram Rahim should not be given parole or furlough without the permission of the High Court. On behalf of Ram Rahim, an application was filed in the High Court demanding the lifting of the ban on parole or furlough.

The administration had increased security around the jailed family. In such a situation, at 6.41 am on Tuesday, Honeypreet along with her team reached the jail premises to take Ram Rahim, where after necessary action, at 6.46 am the convoy with Ramrahim left for Barnawa Ashram in Baghpat, UP. Ramrahim has now come out of jail for the 13th time. Got furlough for the eighth time.
