Keep track of the latest weather updates and warnings from the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) and local authorities. Use a battery-operated radio or mobile phone to receive real-time information, especially if the power goes out.

Emergency Kit:
Prepare an emergency kit that includes essential items like water, non-perishable food, medications, a flashlight, batteries, a first-aid kit, important documents, and some cash. This kit should be easily accessible in case you need to evacuate quickly.
