The suspense was going on about who was going to be the new Chief Minister of Rajasthan. But the suspense seems to be cleared now. The new Chief Minister of Rajasthan has been announced today. MLA Bhajanlal Sharma has been chosen as the leader of the legislative party. The BJP high command has announced the name and everyone agreed on that name without any debate.
There will be two Deputy CMs in that state, one is Diya Singh, and another is Dr. Prem Chand Bairwa. choosing Mr Sharma as the chief minister is quite a surprise. The name of Chief Minister Rajasthan was announced after the newly elected BJP MLAs met. Former chief minister Vasundhara Raje first suggested the name. But, notably, she was herself considered to be in the running for the top post.
Madhya Pradesh Assembly Speaker Narendra Singh Tomar said, “Bhajanlal Sharma has been elected as the new Chief Minister of Rajasthan. He is an experienced worker of the party. He is dedicated to the party, whose ideology, and election have sent a good message to the workers. I am very confident that his capable leadership will work in Rajasthan and meet the vision of PM Narendra Modi. I congratulate him and extend him my best wishes.”
Madhya Pradesh’s new Chief Minister Mohan Yadav says, “I congratulate my friend Bhajanlal who has been elected as the CM there. I wish for him to be the most successful CM of Rajasthan. I pray to Baba Mahakal to set new records of development in Rajasthan. Together, under the leadership of PM Modi, double-engine governments in Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, and Rajasthan will take the state ahead.”
