Uttarkashi Tunnel Rescue: Applause from PM and Opposition for Successful Worker Rescue !!

Prime Minister (PM) Narendra Modi has completed the operation. The rescue of 41 workers trapped in an under-construction road tunnel in Uttarakhand was completed on Tuesday. It is asserted that everyone involved in the mission has created an amazing example of humanity and teamwork. Modi also spoke to the rescued construction workers over the phone and enquired about their well-being.

The prime minister said the rescue exercise has made everyone emotional!

“It is a matter of great satisfaction that these friends of ours will meet their dear ones after a long wait,” the prime minister said. He also said that the patience and courage of their family members cannot be praised enough. The workers were rescued on Tuesday evening. The 41 workers who got trapped after a portion of the Silkyara tunnel, part of the Centre’s ambitious Char Dham project. It collapsed due to a landslide on November 12.

Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) IT department head Amit Malviya took a swipe at the opposition. He said, “Just so that the Opposition ecosystem further stews in their bile. Let it be known that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is the head of the National Disaster Management Authority, which oversaw the arduous Silkyara rescue operation.”

“The success of the rescue operation of our labor brothers in Uttarkashi is making everyone emotional. I want to say to the friends who were trapped in the tunnel that your courage and patience are inspiring everyone. I wish you all well and good health,” Prime M Narendra Modi wrote on X.

Minister of Road Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari said that he is relieved. Because the 41 trapped workers from the under-construction Silkyara tunnel in Uttarakhand were rescued safely. “I am completely relieved and happy as 41 trapped laborers in the Silkyara Tunnel Collapse have been successfully rescued. This was a well-coordinated effort by multiple agencies, marking one of the most significant rescue operations in recent years.” he wrote on X.
