40 schools in Delhi have again received bomb threats this morning. Other schools including Delhi Public School located at RK Puram and GD Goenka Public School located at Paschim Vihar have received bomb threats through e-mail. Delhi Fire Department was informed about this incident at around 7 am.
Delhi Police said in its investigation that today more than 40 schools in Delhi have received bomb threats through e-mail. It is written in the e-mail that I have planted several bombs inside school buildings. The bombs are small and very well hidden. This will not cause much damage to the building, but many people will be injured if the bomb explodes. If I don’t get $30,000 I will detonate bombs.
This email came at around 11.38 pm on December 8. Mother Mary School, British School, Salwan Public School and Cambridge School were targeted. Delhi Chief Minister Atishi has criticized the central government’s handling of the situation, while former Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has urged Union Home Minister Amit Shah to pay attention to the issue.
