Train Fire Incident: Bangladesh Police Accuse Opposition Activists !!

A huge fire caught on a train in Bangladesh. The train was full of passengers.  This devastating accident had cost innocent lives. Bangladesh police authority is accusing opposition activists of this train fire. According to the authority, this was a deliberately sabotaged accident.

Among the dead was a three-year-old innocent child!

The train accident was the latest strike protest by the anti-government protestors. They set fire to dozens of buses and vehicles which caused the death of at least six people. This has been going on since October 28, when an opposition rally turned violent.

Now the protesters in Bangladesh set a train couch on fire on Tuesday, which led to the killing of four people. But the sad news is among them there was an innocent mother and child. The child was only 3 years old. The opposition called a strike to press its demand. They demand that the government have to resign ahead of next month’s general elections.

“The victims were burnt to death,” said the chief of the Dhaka train Police.

fire service official Shahjahan Shikder said, “Strike supporters set fire to three compartments of an express train. Four bodies have been retrieved from a compartment.”

Anwar Hossain, who is the chief of the Dhaka train Police, has claimed that the victims were burnt to death. The images that were provided by the fire department showed flames rising from a train coach.  “We have recovered four bodies. Our suspect is that it is an act of sabotage. We suspect those who called a strike and transport blockade and their associates have committed this”, Anwar said.

“Apart from setting fire to trains, parts of the railway line are being removed at several places. It is difficult to provide adequate security on such a large railway line,” he added, vowing to deploy 2,700 paramilitary troops. “ said Railways Minister Nurul Islam Sujan.

“We were engulfed by so everyone was struggling to breathe,” said Bakul Akhter. Bakul is a 50-year-old fellow passenger of that packed train that caught fire.
