At present this service has been made available in Gurugram. Currently five ambulances are running here. These provide essential life support including oxygen cylinder and Automated External Defibrillator (AED).Every BLS ambulance will have a paramedic, an assistant and a trained driver to provide medical care as quickly as possible.
Blinkit CEO Albinder Dhindsa announced the launch of BLS ambulance services in a post on Twitter (previously Twitter). According to the information received, Quick Commerce Company aims to tackle the issue of quick and reliable ambulance service in Indian cities. Although it is currently available only in Gurugram, Blinkit aims to expand the service to other cities and users will soon be able to access basic life support through the Blinkit app.
The company has stressed that it will not target financial targets through its ambulance service. It will be operated at an affordable cost to customers, with Blinkit aiming to solve this critical problem in the long term.
