After which the loco pilot immediately tried to stop the train by applying emergency brakes, meanwhile there was a blast in the OHE line and the power supply suddenly stopped, due to which a major accident was saved.This train was going from Kolkata to Amritsar. If the train had hit this cable, disaster could have happened.
