Massive fire sweeps through Kanan Kunj slum, Delhi; 11 fire tenders at spot!

 

An incident of fire in a slum came to light late last night in Kanchan Kunj of Madanpur Khadar area in Delhi. As soon as information about the fire was received, 11 fire brigade vehicles reached the spot and work to control the fire was started. At present there is no news of any casualty in the accident and the fire has been extinguished. Now, the cooling operation is going on.The fire department and police are investigating the cause of the fire.

The fire brigade official present at the spot informed that the fire was reported at 2.50 am. As soon as the information was received, fire tenders were sent to the spot and the fire was brought under control. Many huts here have been damaged in the fire and the goods kept in them have also been burnt to ashes. But fortunately there was no casualty in the accident.
