When Will Intelligence Sharing Return?

Mike Waltz, the National Security Advisor of the US, discussed the pause on intelligence sharing and said, “We’ve taken a step back to review everything in this relationship.” According to Waltz, once Zelensky shows that he’s serious about joining peace talks under Trump’s terms, the US might start sharing intelligence with Ukraine again.

CIA Director Weighs In

CIA Director John Ratcliffe also shared his thoughts on the situation. He pointed out that this halt followed a rough meeting between Trump and Zelensky in the Oval Office. Ratcliffe mentioned that Trump wants to know if Zelensky is truly committed to peace. He described the intelligence pause as just a “temporary break,” and added, “On the military and intelligence fronts, this pause will end, and I believe we’ll continue working side by side with Ukraine, just like before.”
