Atishi to be the new Chief Minister of Delhi!

 

Atishi will be the new Chief Minister of Delhi. She will take charge of Delhi government in place of Arvind Kejriwal. Kejriwal himself had proposed Atishi’s name for the post of Chief Minister.Atishi has been elected the leader of the legislative party. All the MLAs stood up and accepted this proposal. Sources say there will be no Deputy CM in Delhi government.

Atishi is the third woman chief minister of Delhi

Atishi will take oath as Chief Minister during the special session of the Assembly. The special session of the Assembly will be held on 26 to 27 September. Atishi is currently looking after the responsibility of most of the departments in Delhi Government. She is also considered very close to Arvind Kejriwal. Ever since Arvind Kejriwal announced his resignation on Sunday, there were continuous speculations that Atishi could be his successor. Now it has been announced officially.
