Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has made a big announcement. He has announced his resignation from the post of CM in the next two days. He said that in the next two days, there will be a meeting of the legislative party and a new Chief Minister will be selected. The next CM will also be from the Aam Aadmi Party.
CM Arvind Kejriwal, while addressing the Aam Aadmi Party workers and the public, said, “Until I win in the court of the people, I will not become the CM. I want the Delhi elections to be held in November. The public should vote for me and make me win, after that, I will sit on the CM’s chair.”
‘Will neither bow down nor stop nor sell out’- CM Kejriwal
Addressing the AAP workers, CM Arvind Kejriwal said, “With the blessings of the people, we have the strength to counter all the conspiracies of the BJP. We will neither bow down nor stop nor sell out in front of the BJP. Today we have been able to do so much for Delhi because we are honest. Today they (BJP) are afraid of our honesty because they are not honest.”
Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal further said, “I did not come to be a part of this game of ‘power from money and money from power’. I will resign from the post of CM after two days. I got justice from the court of law, now the court of the people will give me justice.”
‘We have big enemies’
CM Arvind Kejriwal said that he was warned that if he wrote the letter for the second time, then his meeting with the family in the jail would be stopped. The CM said, “We have big enemies. Satyendra Jain and Amanatullah Khan will also come out soon. Lord Bholenath’s hand is on us, his blessings are with us.”
Aam Aadmi Party leaders supported
On the announcement of CM Arvind Kejriwal’s resignation, Cabinet Minister Kailash Gehlot said that now the Chief Minister will go to the court of the people and seek justice from them. The court has given justice, now it is the turn of the people.
At the same time, Raghav Chadha has expressed confidence that in the upcoming assembly elections, the people of Delhi will again elect Arvind Kejriwal as the Chief Minister.
What did Congress say on Arvind Kejriwal’s resignation announcement?
Congress leader Sandeep Dixit said that just by getting bail, a ‘victory of justice’ cannot be declared. The public cannot decide whether someone is a criminal or not, this is the work of the court. The public’s court can only choose its leader. Sandeep Dixit also said, “We were saying long ago that he should resign. He has been given bail with conditions because the Supreme Court is afraid that the evidence can be destroyed.”
BJP’s Reaction to CM Kejriwal
BJP leader Manjinder Singh Sirsa has made a big claim that after his resignation, CM Kejriwal wants to make his wife Sunita Kejriwal the next Chief Minister. According to the Supreme Court’s order, he cannot sit on the CM post nor can he sign any file, so now he wants to make his wife sit on the chair.
At the same time, Harish Khurana says that if Arvind Kejriwal wants to resign, then he should do it today itself. He is only doing drama.
