Historic change in Indian Politics: 2024 Lok Sabha Election Results shocks everyon

It is very surprising to see that this year’s election has changed many things. The Modi government’s promise of crossing 400 votes has been completely shattered. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has won in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, this time they are getting a third consecutive term. The BJP with the leadership of present Prime Minister Narendra Modi, hs won 298 seats out of 543, which its dominance in Indian politics, this clearly indicates their victory. However, the BJP has disappointed its supporters.

A dire situation has emerged in India after the results of election 2024!

The main opposition, the Indian National Congress, has been able to secure 102 seats, which is a huge improvement from their last elections, although not enough to challenge the BJP . The Congress campaign was led by Rahul Gandhi, focusing on social justice and economic reformatuon but he failed. Although Rahul Gandhi could not win this time, if the current situation continues for the next four years, it is not very difficult to imagine what might happen in the next Lok Sabha election.

Regional parties played an important role in this loksabha election. The leading party of West Bengal, the Trinamool Congress (TMC) and the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) kept their strongholds in West Bengal and Tamil Nadu. In West Bengal TMC won 34 seats while in Tamilnadu the DMK won with 26 seats.
This year’s election had daw record voter turnout of 67%, proving the strong democratic spirit of the country. Major issues that were focused during the campaign were economic growth, job creation, national security, and social welfare. The BJP’s campaign focused their dids over the past ten years, like they did improving infrastructure, advancing digital projects, and successes in foreign policy.

Prime Minister Modi gave his victory speech and he thanked all the voters for trusting in him once again and he has promised to continue working towards a “New India” with focusing on progress. “This mandate is a testament to the faith that the people of India have in our vision and leadership,” he said.
