Muslim league is declared as an ‘Unlawful Association’!

The Union Home Minister Amit Shah has declared Modi government’s message is loud and clear. Anyone who will be acting against the unity, sovereignty, and integrity of this country, will not be spared. They would all have to face the full wrath of the law.

“The Muslim League Jammu Kashmir (Masarat Alam faction) is declared as an ‘Unlawful Association’ under UAPA. This organization and its members are involved in anti-national and secessionist activities in J&K, supporting terrorist activities and inciting people to establish Islamic rule in J&K,” he wrote on X, formally known as Twitter.

Masarat Alam Bhat and terrorism:

Masarat Alam Bhat is famous for his anti-India and pro-Pakistan activities. Masarat Bhat became the chairman of the hardline faction of the Hurriyat Conference after Syed Ali Shah Geelani died. Syed Ali Shah was the former chairperson. Currently, he is incarcerated.

The Union Home Ministry confirmed that the objectives of the Muslim League Jammu Kashmir are to attain freedom for Jammu and Kashmir from India. They want to merge it with Pakistan and their main motto is to establish Islamic rule.

According to him, the Muslim League Jammu Kashmir and their members disrespect the Indian constitutional authority and setup. Muslim League of Jammu Kashmir and its members have been supporting terrorist activities for years. They intend to create terror in the country, endangering India’s security and public order. So, according to the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, 1967, the Central government has declared the Muslim League Jammu Kashmir as an unlawful association with immediate effect.
