PM Modi Offers Prayers at Parvati Kund in Uttarakhand Pithoragarh

On Thursday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Parvati Kund in Uttarakhand’s Pithoragarh district and offered prayers at the Shiva temple. PM Narendra Modi was scheduled to lay the foundation stone for several projects and inaugurate schemes worth Rs 4,200 crore in the hill state later.

The PM prayed for the well-being of his citizens!

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi performed darshan and pooja at Parvati Kund in Pithoragarh in Uttarakhand.

  Later in a post on X( formally known as Twitter) Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed joy in being able to have Darshan of Aadi Kailash. He prayed for the welfare and happy life of all the countrymen. The Prime Minister posted on X :

Uttaraakhand mein pithauraagadh ke pavitr paarvatee kund mein darshan aur poojan se abhibhoot hoon. yahaan se aadi kailaash ke darshan se bhee man aahlaadit hai. prakrti kee god mein basee adhyaatm aur sanskrti kee is sthalee se apane desh ke sabhee parivaarajanon ke sukhamay jeevan kee kaamana kee.”

The Prime Minister was seen wearing a white turban on his head and a special cloth with white hangings on his head – which is the local tribal dress. He entered the temple following all and every ritual.

PM Modi also offered incense to the Nandi idol outside the temple and played aarti by playing the drum. Prime Minister also bowed his head to Adi-Kailash and asked for blessings. He also met residents and Indian Army, ITBP jawans. In one video, it was seen that PM Modi shakes hands with an old lady. Seek his blessings. The old lady also blessed the Prime Minister by clapping her hands on his head. He is also seen adoring a baby on the lap of a woman standing next to him. It is reported that Modi will also visit Jaleswar Dham in Almora district. The height of Jaleswar Dham is 6200 feet. There are 224 stone temples here.
