When the whole country was celebrating the 76th Republic Day on Sunday, an atmosphere of ‘gang war’ was created between two leaders in Roorkee, Uttarakhand. The ongoing social media dispute between Khanpur MLA Umesh Kumar and former MLA Kunwar Pranav Singh Champion has reached the level of pistol, rifle, firing, and abuse.
Former MLA Kunwar Pranav Singh Champion on Sunday attacked the camp office of Khanpur MLA Umesh Kumar with a huge entourage of armed people in a filmy style. Kunwar Pranav Singh Champion fired several rounds indiscriminately at Umesh Kumar’s office with a rifle and pistol and abused Umesh Kumar fiercely. Kunwar Pranav Singh Champion was also seen threatening Umesh Kumar. In this case, the police have arrested Kunwar Pranav Singh Champion.
Security increased at Champion’s palace
Former BJP MLA Kunwar Pranav Singh Champion reached Dehradun after firing indiscriminately at Umesh Kumar’s residence. After the uproar and firing in Roorkee, Nehru Colony police station arrested Pranav Singh Champion. Nehru Colony police station will hand him over to Haridwar police. Umesh Kumar also tried to retaliate, after which the police increased the security of Pranav Singh Champion’s palace.
