This happened a day after the commencement of the Budget Session. Various industry stalwarts, spanning sectors like EV, real estate, healthcare, education, energy, auto, agriculture, FMCG, IT, and also defense were eagerly waiting for the interim budget. The interim Budget of 2024 is going to be released in a “paperless form”. It can be accessed through the Union Budget Mobile App. This bilingual app is available in English and Hindi and can be downloaded on Android, iOS, or from the Union Budget Web Portal (www.indiabudget.gov.in).
This app of the Government of India will provide all essential Budget documents, which include the annual Financial Statement, the Demand for Grants, and the Finance Bill which is mandated by the Constitution. The Budget documents will be available on the Mobile App after the Interim Budget 2024 speech by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman.
On today, February 1st, at 11 am, the Finance Minister will set the stage for the temporary financial plan until the new government takes over the ruling. This is going to be the sixth budget presentation put forth by the finance minister including five annual and one interim.
